Happy December!   It’s been a while.. I went back to my trusty strength training, cardio and flexibility home video program called ChaLean Extreme to get back in shape in August of 2016…...

I have gone from 162 pounds to 154 at the end of that in early Dec. Slow going, but building muscle, so it is how I am feeling and fitting into my clothes, rather than a number on the scale. I am working on getting to a fit and healthy 130 pds.  This is a long standing goal… I’d get to a better weight, but would stop after my program ended so I let things go and got back up to 162 (my heaviest ever!)….But this time, instead of emotional eating and getting out of control again,  I then went into another program  and now I am at 148! This time it is a 4 week program (Rocking Body) so that will get me through the rest of December and for the New Year I’ve got another program in mind to help me get to my goal by Spring!… I’ll let you know in January!  😉                     It’s all about staying healthy and maintaining when I hit my goal so I completed this round of 120 days for Chalean Extreme program (I was done by early December) and currently doing Rocking Body.

My focus is on eating clean at least 85% of the time. Weight goes up and down, but I want to end that cycle, by keeping consistent and be fit for life! I will then be clearly be at my goal and happily healthy. It’s not about the number on the scale, it’s how I am getting stronger and fit! What’s your focus this week? Can’t believe it’s June!  I’ve been struggling big time and have not done any workouts and eating terrible crap for months now, (emotional eating, put it that way!)  I had a wake up call as a visit with my doctor for a yearly check in revealed very bad sugar and cholesteral levels and basicalliy I was told if I don’t improve my numbers and I go back to see her in December, there will be talk about diabetes and/ or cholesterol medication! That is not going to happen, so I am going for my trusty strength training, cardio and flexibility home video program called ChaLean Extreme for 90 days to get back in shape.   It’s all about staying healthy and maintaining when I hit my goal so I am going to complete this round of 90 days for this program. My focus is on eating clean at least 85% of the time. Weight goes up and down, but I want to end that cycle, by keeping consistent and be fit for life! Can’t believe it’s February! Been a snowy winter so far here, so can I hope it’s spring already?  I’m coming along well and want to keep this in check all winter.  I am going for my trusty strength training, cardio and flexibility home video program called ChaLean Extreme for 90 days to get back in shape.   It’s all about staying healthy and maintaining when I hit my goal so I am going to complete this round of 90 days for this program. 9/22/14 wellness blog entry- 2 pounds lost

Yes! After my first full week of a strength training, cardio and flexibility home video program called ChaLean Extreme, I’ve lost 2 pounds! I’ve gone from my highest weight of 154 to 152.  The problem is this past summer, I stopped exercising and went to comfort food. I’m only human, and have my personal reasons as to how this happened, but I basically gained weight back quickly.  So now I have to do this or I am going to be in trouble with my cholesterol and sugar levels.  It’s all about staying healthy and maintaining when I hit my goal so I am going to complete this round of 90 days for this program. My focus is on eating clean at least 85% of the time. What are your struggles?  weight goes up and down, but I want to end that cycle, by keeping consistent and be fit for life! I will then be clearly be at my goal and happily healthy by early wintertime. It’s not about the number on the scale, it’s how I am getting stronger and fit!  What’s your focus this week? Don’t forget we can work together! I am excited that I host a “Fit Club” at my local church in Fitchburg, MA. It is free and open to all fitness levels and will be from 2 – 3 pm on Mondays starting back up in October 2014!… It’s a great way to work out together and keep accountable…. I hope all is well. Back in February 2014 I started a strength training, cardio and flexibility home video program called ChaLean Extreme and loved it!  Unfortunately, I stopped after I finished the 90 days program, and went to comfort food and was not taking care of myself. So in short, I gained weight back after that hard work.  I had my personal issues to why this happened, but in effect, I need to get back to where I was, or my sugar and cholesterol levels are going through the roof and then I’m in for more serious health issues. So I am going to start this 90 day program again, and I know it works and I need to keep with it after I’m done and continue a long term lifestyle change. So follow my 153 pounds currently and how I lose the weight to lose a goal of 20 pounds……..It’s all about staying healthy and maintaining when I hit my goal so I am going to do another round of 90 days starting this week, then I will clearly be at my goal and happily healthy by early wintertime. Motivation

Hello! Today is May 6, 2013

I have been at my heaviest, 148 pounds, and have gotten to 126 pounds, but the goal is to have a healthy body and use a maintenance program that I have been working on since August 2010.  The issue is I am human!  I am now at 142 pds again, emotional eating and all, took its toll!  So now it is May 2013, and I am back to focusing on what I need to do to get back to my fighting weight, so to speak.  It was August 7, 2010, that I started my meal replacement and fitness routine. It was a great experience and I had lost 9 pounds at the beginning! Then I did really well and got to 126 pds (my ultimate goal is 120).. It was a great motivator for me now I know I will get back to my goal weight and then I can focus on maintaining a healthy weight, and have great energy! It is truly involves discipline and a lifestyle change.  Some quick tips I have learned on the way:

1:  Always have a gym bag with sneakers, and workout clothes in your car and at home at all times. It helps, as you will now not have an excuse that you can’t go to the gym or even work out at home. You’ll have what you need and the car suggestion is for when you have the option to go the gym on the way home for the day, or first thing in the morning, or on a lunch hour, you’ll have the bag handy and be more likely to go into the gym!

2: Always have a bag of crackers or fruit on you at all times. This makes it easy to snack on something if you feel the need and you won’t be tempted to get junk food!

3: Don’t forget to drink your Shakeology once a day in place of one meal!

4: Eat two other healthy meals, every day. Make sure you have fruit/vegetables at some point each day.

5: Drink lots of water!!
